Package A- $45/pp/night.  North Face Mountain 25.Excellent choice for 2-3 people looking for the lightest backcountry package.


Package B- $50/pp/night. Bell tent.Perfect for the group 4-6. Packs a bit more weight, but with the comfort of a wood stove. 


Package C–
Expedition/Ultralight Package ($65/pp/day) Kifaru ultralight tipi 6lbs/ and stove 6lbs, down sleeping bags,goretex overbags, exped insulated mats,  pulks,  snowshoes/ backcountry skis etc. 


  Wilderness Outpost- near Algonquin Park. Enjoy our prospector tent (hot tent) already set up on a remote lake. Hike with all of your gear for about 6 kms to our base(approx 3 hrs). Enjoy the solitude, and trails to ski/snowshoe for day trips.                       

Outpost tent/ stove only - $60 /night  

Outpost support kit $25/rental (Delivered to the outpost the day before you arrive. 2-20 L jugs of potable water, 1 bag of dry firewood (extra bags $8), lrg axe/ saw, snow shovel, folding fire grate, lrg fire pot and frypan, tarp, rope and extra sleeping bag. Also some emergency supplies basic first aid kit, repair kit, and emergency fire starter kit.

Complete outfitting only. $50/pp/day (includes delivered support kit)   

Shuttle $50- leave your car at our Basecamp in town

Sat phone $20 plus usage

Spot 2 locator  $6

Guides $175/day

When you book a winter rental or pkg we will email you a info pkg and prep your trip with you via email or phone. Upon arrival make sure you leave us some time to walk you through everything.

Rental Conditions and Terms:

Deposit: To reserve your rental, payment for the amount of 1 day rental will be required. Just give us a call or email. We will accept personal cheque as reservation deposit.

When you arrive: All rental charges must be paid in full at time of pick-up. Photo identification is required at time of rental (driver's licence/passport) . When you arrive we will take a copy of your credit card-(visa only) as damage deposit. This will be returned to you, upon return of your rental items and assessment of usage. Payment can be made with cash/visa. You will also be required to sign a rental release/waiver-to acknowledge that you have experience in the activity you are participating in and that you are responsible for equipment rented. If you have no previous experience in the activity choosen-no problem we will suggest a lesson or guide.

Cancellations: Full refunds are given for cancellations made 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time will result in forfeiting the reservation fee. We may honor a credit for future rentals.

Damage/Dirty/Lost Policy: If rental equipment is returned in damaged or dirty condition, the renter will be responsible for cleaning and repair costs. Shop rate will be charged ($35/hr, $10 min) plus any parts and materials for cleaning and repair. Replacement cost for lost/stolen /destroyed rental equipment is full retail value.
